Public benefit non-profit organization Business & Professional Women CR, z.s. has been trying to start a public debate since 2010 about the causes of high pay inequalities, which has been stagnant in the Czech Republic for a long time, and also deals with practically all areas related to women’s career building or entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic. In recent years we managed to build a strong and stable campaign for equal pay, which was enhanced in 2020 by cooperation with the project @rovnáodměna. We helped the media to find arguments to bring this issue closer to the public and we send a clear message to women: “It is important to work on ourselves, educate ourselves and support each other. If we can evaluate ourselves and our work, we will strengthen our self-confidence.”
