Andrea Ferancová has more than 20 years of experience in the field of finances in emerging markets. Since 1995, she has worked at the leading investment bank and brokerage company Wood & Company. She started in the securities division, after management buy-out she became the bank’s co-owner in 2000 and also the director of the securities division. She introduces access to the e-commerce in Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna, Frankfurt, Bucharest, Istanbul and Dubai, and also played a key role in expansion of the Wood & Company into 11 foreign markets in Central and Eastern Europe and the opening of a company office in London. She has also experience in creating IT and back office strategies, financial reporting and risk management.
During her tenure, she has been regularly ranked in the TOP 25 businesswomen in the Czech Republic, and is a member of Via Bonna Slovakia jury. She holds a position on the board of the Charter 77 Foundation. Andrea is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds an engineering degree from the University of Economics in Prague.
