Introduce yourself in 5 sentences

When I look back at my 20 years of experience in the world of finance, I see a leading investment bank and a brokerage company, Wood & Company. Five years later, I became a co-owner of the bank and the head of the securities trading division. We have entered 11 foreign markets in Central and Eastern Europe and have opened an office in London. I have implemented access to electronic trading in Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna, Frankfurt, Bucharest, Istanbul and Dubai, and I also have experience with IT development and back office strategies, financial reporting and risk management. When I look into the future, with Espira Investments we would like to support small- and medium-sized enterprises in Bohemia and Slovakia and open the door to the “big world” for them.

The main 2019 topic is Corporate Identity. What is your view on this topic?

Corporate culture cannot be seen at first glance and it is hard to describe, but it is responsible for almost everything. It defines the uniqueness of a company and the added value that the company gives to the world.

What do you expect to gain from this conference?

I would like to learn something new, learn something interesting and find more inspiration both for my private and my professional lives.

What idea would you like to pass on to conference guests and why?

It seems to me that the world is turning faster than ever before. It is changing literally before our eyes. I see in it an excellent and great opportunity. I am convinced that we cannot even begin to imagine what kind of work our children will be doing one day (and precisely because of them, Espira Investments wants to support original Czech companies. I would like to see our children working on Czech ideas and develop Czech businesses).
