I was born in 1973, I turned 50 in September. I graduated from IPS FSV with a master’s degree in political science and international relations. I have been working in the media since 1992. I currently host Události and Události, komentáře and have two children.

Motivation to moderate discussion on Equal Pay Day conference:
Women still have lower salaries than men in many positions here. The gender pay gap in our country was (if I’m not mistaken) 17.6% last year. It is unacceptable that women have to work 60 days longer to achieve the same result. This inequality has many causes and they need to be discovered, named and eliminated. That is why I gladly accepted the offer to moderate discussion on this year’s 16th Equal Pay Day conference, which is organized by the non-profit organization Business and Professional Women of the Czech Republic. It is a very important topic that should be addressed by the state, certainly by every employer and, of course, by each of us.
