Dušan Quis: A Leading Advocate for Equal Opportunities

Dušan Quis has been active in the insurance industry since 2005 and has served as the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Allianz Insurance in the Czech Republic since 2018. He studied business economics, psychology, and sociology in management at the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics in Prague. His career in the insurance sector began as a branch director at ING Insurance, and he gradually worked his way up to key leadership positions. He joined Allianz in 2016, after holding various roles at ČSOB and ING across the Czech, Ukrainian, and Slovak markets.

Under his leadership, Allianz Insurance has twice earned the international EDGE Assess certification for equal opportunities. This certification confirms that equal opportunities are embedded in Allianz’s daily operations, with a gender pay gap of less than 1%—a remarkable achievement, especially compared to the Czech Republic’s national average gender pay gap of 17.9% (Eurostat, 2022).
