Emília has more than 20 years of experience in private investments from start-ups to growth capital, majority buyouts and consolidation of companies.
As a founding partner of ESPIRA Investments, she focuses on investments in small and medium-sized enterprises in Central Europe, with an emphasis on companies that are also led by women. Before founding ESPIRA, she worked in the investment team of PineBridge Investments for Central and Eastern Europe, where the company managed a portfolio exceeding 500 million euros. During her career at Benson Oak Capital and Penta Investments, she executed numerous transactions in the healthcare, education, consumer goods and services sectors.
She is a member of the investment committee of Tilia Impact Ventures, and on the board of directors of the Czech Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, she leads the Level20 initiative, which supports the professional development of women in the investment sector and tries to attract more women to this field.
Emília is a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
