Global International Supply Chain Head at AB InBev
Global International Supply Chain Head at AB InBev
I am Brazilian, married with a German and with a Belgium daughter (country that I embraced as my home). I did my Master in Business Administration and later an MBA in General management. I am working for ABI for 20 year, and started my career in Brazil in the Sales back office area, but also worked in Order to Cash and Logistics departments. With the company, I moved to Czech Republic in 2006, where I lived for 2 year, to set up our Business Shared Center in Prague. After that great experience, I moved to Belgium in 2008, where I live until today, working in the Logistics and International Supply Chain, making sure that our products are available in more than 150 countries around the world.
What would help to make women’s VOICE in society to be moreheard?
The awareness and the importance of making sure we have a good representation in the group (in terms of quantity of woman) as it is very difficult to be the “only one” effect.
What I would like to read about myself:
Example of leadership, bringing value to the company on results and people development.
Sources of inspiration:
There are two books that I am reading currently that I definitely would recommend: Daring Greatly and Cultural Map. One is talking about leadership and how to bring empathy in a work environment can change the mindset, create trust and engagement and another because I think is quite important for every one, not only leaders, to understand the differences of people, how their background/where they lived and were raised can influence the way they communicate and connect at work.
What inspired me the most last year?
The “Covid year” inspired me a lot on solidary, kindness, gratitude and most of all the importance of my family and how good I feel on “just being at home” with the loved ones. From a work perspective, was definitely a year where the resilience needed and “delivered”. And that impressed me a lot on how resilient my team and I can be.
