I graduated from the University of Economics in Prague. During my studies, I fell in love with medicine and health care in general, and working in this field has become my life-long passion. I am an optimist, I don’t like to give up. I like challenges and people who have a sparkle in their eye and are enthusiastic. And I am lucky to have found this all at synlab.

The main 2019 topic is Corporate Identity. What is your view on this topic?
In my opinion, a good and a healthy corporate culture is one of the preconditions for a successful company. I am an advocate of open communication throughout the entire company and I place great emphasis on sharing information and experience, and I am not afraid of emotions. I welcome new ideas, even at the cost of making an occasional mistake that will eventually move me forward. Freedom is important, but even freedom has boundaries and rules that may not be for everybody.
What idea would you like to pass on to conference guests and why?
The most important thing is to stay true to oneself and to not be afraid. Women in general tend to unnecessarily underestimate themselves. If you want to achieve something, you have to believe it and you must not give up if you at first fail. And if you put your heart to it, others will believe in you and help you. Even if you first may have thought that it would not be possible.
What do you expect to gain from this conference?
Inspiration, new ideas; I am also happy to hear about other people’s experiences, about things that nobody initially believed in but then enjoyed great success.
