I am leading a wonderful UNICEF team to support Czech Government and partners in response to the unprecedented refugee situation in the Czechia, triggered by the war in Ukraine. Together, we supported over 410,000 refugees with health, education and protection services, while also focusing on making the national system more inclusive and responsive to the future crisis. One of the new exciting initiatives is to engage private sector in providing Ukrainian youth with skills building and employment opportunities in a way that helps young people to pursue their professional aspirations and brings new talents to private sector partners.
