More than sixty experienced women will advise their colleagues online throughout the whole week. Together we will look for ways to use the current situation to create new approaches to work, to manage people or one’s own business, and how to integrate these new approaches into personal lives as well.
„Women today face the greatest challenge of our time. The crisis has accelerated the changes that are taking place in companies, schools and also at home. Women are actively involved in the events and activities – they teach their children, take care of family members and at the same time do everything to do their job in full quality. JI tis admirable that they will find time to support other women and share their experience and knowledge.“ Says Lenka Šťastná, president of the organization Business & Professional Women CR organizing this event.
Mentoring marathon will start on Saturday, 7th of November and will last until 14th of November. For the first time, women in Czech republic will have an opportunity to take part is such an extraordinary event, and thus gain access to number of webinars and mentoring circles in order to enrich and perhaps shorten their path to the future they wish.
60 experienced women will sit at the virtual mentoring tables and participants can choose 2 mentors and topics every day. They can join up to 16 online discussions during the week.
„Mentoring day is the traditional part of the campaign Equal Pay Day. In the spring we were able to organize the first large online conference in Czech Republic very quickly, and although the current situation does not allow us to meet in person, we decided not to resign from mentoring and allow women to meet mentors in a virtual space. Hundreds of women take part in the Mentoring Day every year, and I believe that the Mentoring Marathon will be just as successful. “Lenka Šťastná explains the background of the event and sends the invitation.
