Courage and Confidence through Failures

I passionately believe in learning from your f***ups! We will do a mini ‘fuck up night’ and learn from our failures. It will be fun and empowering 🙂
As a certified and experienced coach and mentor, my passion is helping women reinvent themselves. I am mentoring via Equilibrium of British Chamber of Commerce and Odysseus. My day job is in science and innovation, my next event is a Women in Science conference at the Czech Academy of Science in May. My talk on March 8th focuses on learning from failures and this will be the topic of my mentoring session. Let’s be brave and share our f***ups!
What do YOU DO to be SEEN & HEARD?
I am unconventional. Direct but compassionate. I worked in international NGOs, corporations, then politics and government and lived in 6 countries even before I became a diplomat, so I bring a uniquely diverse experience.
What kind of CHANGE you would like to SEE & MAKE?
I am not much interested in shiny success stories, rather in spectacular f***ups. 🙂 They are the best opportunities for learning. Once we women overcome fear and impostor syndrome by talking honestly about our failures – we will be unstoppable.
What are the topics that are not publicly spoken, but it definitely should be?
Failures! We only see happy shiny success stories – just look at LinkedIn! I passionately believe in learning from your f***ups! Startups do fuckup nights – they are the most liberating, encouraging events! We should bring that culture to corporations so we can learn from mistakes and create a truly empowering environment for women.
What would your younger YOU should know?
Learning about yourself is your best investment.
