Véronique Goy Veenhuys is Founder of EQUAL-SALARY, the certification of equal compensation for women and men, established in 2010 as a nonprofit foundation.
The EQUAL-SALARY certification process has been developed in collaboration with the University of Geneva and its audits are now entrusted to recognized partners such as PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and SGS.
The EQUAL-SALARY certification has been financially supported by the Swiss Confederation and is recognized by the European Commission since 2010. Its methodology was used as a statistical analysis of salary policies by the Swiss Federal Court of High Justice.
Véronique Goy Veenhuys is a born entrepreneur and a social entrepreneur. She gets a kick out of developing ideas and setting them up as businesses. She holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Geneva. She launched EQUAL-SALARY after completing an EMBA program in 2005.
Amongst others, Véronique Goy Veenhuys had the honor to receive the WIN Inspiring Women Worldwide Award in 2015 for her contribution for equal pay and the advancement of women.
Privately, she is married to David, a Dutchman who has always fully supported her ideas and dreams. She has two children and five grandchildren. Véronique’s energy is kept alive thanks to Nature from which she is never far.
What would help to make women’s VOICE in society to be moreheard?
Through promoting trust and respect, equal pay gives women the confidence to speak up.

What inspired me the most last year?:
I had the time to take the time to slow down and think how to be a better person.
